Work Experience

I'm the Founder of the Gorilla Coffee Company, a social enterprise and leading producer of organic Ugandan coffee, with a mission to empower farmers through our vertically integrated supply chain. 🍁🍁

Education

🐒 Based in beautiful Uganda, I work with coffee farmers to improve the quality, quantity & sustainability of their crops. My coffee is from one of the most sought after coffee growing regions in East Africa - Rugaya. I am a qualified accountant who also loves coffee and people so am combining my loves here.

Professional skills

🌞 I have launched this campaign to raise funds for the construction of a vertical drying space for my coffee beans so that the farmers can access finance to improve their crop quality & efficiency. This can lead to higher prices for the farmers and more money flowing into our community. I have been working with these farmers for over 5 years and know that if we can improve their crop quality & efficiency, it will be a big win for everyone involved! 🌱🍃 I have already made some progress and sourced funding to build a single floor drying space which has been delivered. The next step is to build the second floor which will allow us to dry more coffee at once and speed up production.
